Is Gwyneth Paltrow About to get a Record Deal?

Reports out of Nashvile are that Gwyneth Paltrow is about to capitalize on her Country Cred from 'Country Strong' and other venues of late.Several major labels have expressed an interest in signing the Academy Award winning actress.

There are now numerous reports that say industry giant Atlantic Records has reached a deal with Paltrow.  In fact, there are sources saying the two have come to an agreement for a full-length album and the price tag is around $ 900,000.oo.

Even though the album is expected to be in the Country genre', there's some buzz that says her friend Jay-Z may be asked to record with her.  That makes a little more sense when you remember that Jay-Z is a friend of both Gwyneth and her Coldplay lead singer husband, Chris Martin.

Atlantic has alwyas been a diverse label, featuring talents like the Zac Brown Band,  Brett Eldredge,  Sean Paul, B.o.B, T.I. and Kid Rock.

We look forward to the release and maybe the chance to play something from Gwyneth other than her duet with Tim McGraw, "Me and Tennessee.
