In lieu of the annual Griller's Cup, Ivinson Memorial Hospital is hosting Community Appreciation Day on Saturday, August 12 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The event will include a barbecue, ice cream, games, miniature donkey rides, free music, and a bouncy house.

Beth Jones, Executive Director of the Ivinson Memorial Hospital Foundation says that "the intent of this event is to thank the community for their generosity and support to Ivinson over the year." Jones also mentioned that 2017 marks the 100th year of operation for the hospital.

The event will also serve as the opening of the new 27,000 square foot office building, which is connected to the hospital and will provide primary care to patients. Self-guided tours will be available during the celebration.
