It was late last year that Keith Urban underwent surgery to have a polyp removed from one of his vocal chords.  The surgery took place at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.  He's been on vocal rest ever since.  And, of course, has been unable to perform as well.  That's going to change when the country star takes the stage at the Grand Ole Opry.

February 3 is the scheduled date for his appearance at the Ryman Auditorium.  Also scheduled to appear on stage, Charley Pride and the Oak Ridge Boys.

The Opry has announced that Urban will also do a performance in March.

I'm sure many of his fans are relieved to see that the surgery went well and that his career will be back on track very soon.  We'll certainly keep you up-to-date on this important country and entertainment story.  Stay tuned.

For those who can't wait, here's a little video of Kieth performing at the CMA's last year.
