Well, anyone who had concerns about Keith Urban's ability to put on a great show to a packed house after his throat surgery can just relax.

Last Wednesday, Keith brought almost 17,000 people to San Antonie's AT&T Center. And that was a new attendance record for the Annual Stock Show and Rodeo. The same stage has seen some heavy hitters in the past, including Reba, Brooks and Dunn, Lady Antebellum, Toby Keith and even Taylor Swift. And our boy Keith beat them all in attendance.

Of course, the success of his latest single, You Gonna Fly certainly had a lot to do with it. But, you have to think that a lot of those fans wanted to be reassured that Keith still had his great form after the surgery, and no one was disappointed.

That good news comes along with the special occasion of Keith's newest, For You. That song is the first time he's ever written and recorded a song specifically for a movie. And what a movie.  The song will be in the background as the final credits for the movie Act of Valor, which was released to honor the Navy SEALS. The entire soundtrack is set for release early next week.

2012 could turn out to be a phenomenal year for Keith Urban. I can't think of anyone who deserves it more.
