Keith Whitley – A Tribute Album

Keith Whitley's career was very, very short. His country presence only lasted 5 years, from 1984 to 1989. His tragice death from alcohol poisoning took away one of the genre's most promising talents. Now comes the tribute album.

Some big-name artists decided to contribute their talents and performances of some of his best stuff.

Alan Jackson, Tracy Lawrence, Mark Chesnutt, Diamond Rio, Joe Diffie and his widow, Lorrie Morgan all contributed to the work. It would have been easy for those appearing on the disk to just mail it in. However, there are some very respectable performances on the disk.
