Kenny Chesney – Goes Platinum

How great is Hemingway's Whiskey? I mean the CD by Kenny Chesney, not the stuff that made Ernest write the way he did. Anyway, Kenny's latest release from Hemingway's Whiskey has just been certified Platinum.  That's One Million sales.

You and Tequila

, with the lovely and talented Vermont native Grace Potter, has sold over a million copies and that can only lead to more people picking up on the song. And when it comes to honors for the song, how about two Grammys and five...I said five ACM's.

You and Tequila is the second certified platinum single from the CD. The other one, Somewhere With You was officially certified platinum last year. Look for more releases and even more successful singles from the latest and probably most remarkable album released by Kenny.

Looking to the future, the higly anticipated Brothers of the Sun tour, featuring Kenny's old friend Tim McGraw will be blowing up a stadium near you starting in June.
