Lady Antebellum just released their third studio album, ‘Own the Night,’ in September, and have only released two singles from the project — but member Charles Kelley is already putting his mind around the thought of making their next record.

“We want to always try to push ourselves,” Kelley tells Taste of Country. “I’m already, honestly, thinking about the next record. I’m very proud of the music [we've made so far, but] I’m always kind of wishing I’d done a couple of things different. That’s the nature of being a musician … you’re always wishing you had tweaked some things.”

Kelley and his fellow bandmates, Hillary Scott and Dave Haywood, will have plenty of time to think about the next project now that the details for the first and second part of their forthcoming Own the Night tour have been ironed out.

“We’re gearing up for our first headlining arena tour,” Kelley beams. “We headlined theaters last year, so that’s the next big step for us. It’s nice to be at a point where [we're] not trying to fight so hard to win over fans. I’m just ready to keep moving forward and building this thing.”

Lady A’s latest single is ‘We Owned the Night,’ which Kelley and Haywood co-wrote with hit songwriter Dallas Davidson. The first leg of the Own the Night Tour is set for November 11 in Knoxville, Tenn. Click here for a complete list of dates where the tour will be stopping.
