It will be another 50 days or so before the official street date for Miranda Lambert to release her newest CD, "Four the Record".  However, we're starting to get a little bit more details from Miss Lambert on just what's going on with this one.

The first thing that I found impressive is the fact that Miranda either wrote or co-wrote six cuts on the album.  The next thing I found impressive is the fact that her current hit, "Baggage Claim" was one of them.

But, wait, there's a lot more.  The current single has some high-octane  talent behind it.  The very talented Josh Kelley is doing background vocals.  Oh, and if you're impressed with the Hammond organ on the track, that's because the legendary Steve Windwood is playing.  Nice little back up band, huh?

Also featured is a duet with Blake Shelton.  And that one was written by no less than Charles Kelley of Lady Antebellum, and Miss Ashley Monroe of Miranda's other project, Pistol Annies.

Miranda is quoted as saying:

“I’m so ready for the fans to hear it.  Baggage Claim’ is such a groovy song and I’m glad it’s the first single. But just like Revolution, not one song represents the whole album. There are ‘All Kinds Of Kinds’ of music on the Record, and I’m so excited for it to get out there.”

Miranda was recently nominated for two awards at the CMA's; one for Female Vocalist and Music Event of the year for her collaboration with the Legendary Loretta Lynn and Sheryl Crow.

Get set to watch Miranda rack up even more awards when the CMA's air on ABC on Novermber 9th.
