Laramie resident Lance Talbot pled guilty to a felony theft charge in Albany District Court on Wednesday. Prosecutors allege that on November 23, 2013, Talbot walked out of the Laramie Wal-Mart with three stolen flat-screen televisions. He then fled in a car after he was confronted by two employees. About 10 minutes later, Talbot was stopped by authorities at the intersection of Snowy Range Road and South Colorado Avenue.

When police questioned Talbot, he admitted to stealing the televisions, worth more than $1,500. District Court Judge Jeffrey Donelle has ordered a pre-sentence investigation for Talbot. A court date for his sentencing will come after that report is completed.
