Both Laramie Little League All-Star baseball teams are playing in the District Championship game today in Gillette.

The 9-10 year olds beat Gillette National 10-2 Wednesday night to advance to the championship game today at 10 a.m. That victory also qualified them for next week's state tournament.

Laramie will face Gillette National for a second time in the title game.

The 11-12 year olds closed out pool play undefeated Wednesday with a 14-6 victory over Torrington. They earned the top seed for single elimination bracket play.

Thursday, the Laramie All-Stars defeated Platte County 12-2 in four innings. Garrett Dodd hit two home runs and had 4 RBI's in the victory. The win also guaranteed them a spot in next week's state tournament.

Laramie faces Gillette at 1 p.m. for the district title.

Both Little League baseball state tournaments are in Gillette July 29 through August 1.
