A good bookstore can be a draw for a town, it can be the reason someone rolls into town to take in the scenery of the surrounding area, or take in the literature and coffee offered at the bookstore in question. In one recent list of "Adventure Towns," with fabulous bookstores, two local shops made the grade as "road trip worthy."

Night Heron Books and Coffeehouse and Second Story Bookstore got a nod in a recent article on Outside Online, detailing the shops as worth the trip into the wilderness of Wyoming.

There’s a block of Laramie that might give you the biggest bookstore bang for your buck in the country. Night Heron, a used bookstore and café with floor-to-ceiling shelves is a great place to drink coffee, read, and dream about beautiful local places like Vedauwoo in a place that feels straight out of Beauty and the Beast.

Of course, we'd love to invite any book aficionados to come enjoy Laramie's fabulous bookshops, and have one of Night Heron's London Fog Teas while you're at it!
