The Downtown Mash Up hits the Gem City August 23rd through the 25th.

Friday, August 23rd

1-2 pm: Inkle Loom Weavin Demo, Jenny Originals

1-2 pm: Cashmere Goats & Spinning Fibers Demo, Cowgirl Yarn

2-3 pm: Found Objects into Woven Wall Hangings, Jenny Originals

3-7 pm: Farmer's Market with Local Vendors & Fiber Animals

5-7 pm: Live music in the First Street Plaza

5:30 pm: Historic walking tour.  $10.  Meet at 207 Grand Ave.

6:00 pm: Market inspired cooking class at the Copper Kettle.  $35 w/ RSVP

6:30-8:30 pm: Opening reception for WY Fiber Arts, WOW Gallery

Saturday, August 24th:

9-11 am: Car show registration at 3rd and Grand Ave.

10-5 pm: Spinning sheep wool demo, Cowgirl Yarn

10-5 pm: Llama Walk hosted by Laurel Snider

10-2 pm: From Rags to Bags & Rugs Demo, Jenny Originals

11-4 pm: Gem City Car Classic

11 am: Beer tent opens & Brown & Gold raffle sales begin

11 am: Food vendors open

12-1 pm: All Things Bison: Ranching, cooking & yarn.  Jenny Originals

1-2 pm: Knitting demo with Esther Warren, Cowgirl Yarn.

1-2 pm: Tatting 101 demo with Marry Maynard, WOW Gallery

1-6 pm: Kid's games & Photo ops with UW athletes, Pistol Pete, and Cowboy Joe

1-3 pm: Fair isle knitting workshop, $25 with registration, Jenny Originals

3-5 pm: Making glove people sculptures demo, Jenny Originals

4 pm: Car show winners announced.  1st drawing, 50/50 raffle

4-9 pm: Laramie art quilters show & sale, Ivinson Mansion

5-6 pm: All Things Bison: Ranching, cooking & yarn, Jenny Oringinals

6-6:30 pm:  UW Pep Band performance

6:30-7:00 pm: Talks by UW athletic coaches

6:30-8:30 pm: Artist reception at the Ivinson Mansion

7-11 pm: Street dance with live music from Basmati

8 pm: Brown & Gold raffle closes, 2nd drawing for 50/50

11 pm: Beer tent closes

Sunday, August 25th

9 am: Artists' Brunch & Roundtable, WOW Gallery

10-11 am: "Selling Your Work" workshop for artists, WOW Gallery

10-2 pm: Laramie Art Quilter's Show & Sale, Ivinson Mansion

12-1 pm: Mixing textiles & other media demo, WOW Gallery
