Laramie Jubilee Days Rodeo Events
Laramie Jubilee Days presents four types of rodeo events you can see from July 5-13.
From the Ranch Rodeo to Bull Riding to the PRCA performances, there will be rodeo action on six days during Wyoming's Hometown Celebration.
Ranch Rodeo
July 6: 10 a.m. at the Albany County Fairgrounds
This is a rodeo competition for the working cowboy and cowgirl. It consists of calf branding, steer doctoring, penning and trailer loading. This event is free to attend.
Junior Bull Riding
July 9: 7 p.m. at the Albany Country Fairgrounds
See up and coming young cowboys and cowgirls compete on sheep, calves, steers and young bulls for prize money. There are six different divisions in this rodeo event. There is a $5 charge for adults, while children 12 and under are free.
Mr. T Xtreme Bulls
July 10: 7 p.m. at the Albany County Fairgrounds
Forty bull riders will compete in one of nine division 1 Xtreme Bulls events from around the country. Multiple National Final Rodeo qualifiers will be part of the action. The cost for a ticket is $15 for adults, children 5-12 are $5 and under 5 are free.
PRCA Rodeos
July 11: 7 p.m. at the Albany County Fairgrounds
July 12: 7 p.m. at the Albany County Fairgrounds
July 13: 1:30 p.m. at the Albany County Fairgrounds
This is your chance to see some of the top professional cowboys and cowgirls compete in steer roping, steer wrestling, tie-down roping, team roping, barrel racing, saddle bronc riding, bareback riding and bull riding. Cost is $15 for adults, children 5-12 are $5 and under 5 are free.
There is also slack on Friday, July 11 at 7 a.m. for steer roping, steer wrestling, tie-down roping and team roping. Barrel racing slack will be after Saturday's (July 12) performance. These are free to attend.
In addition, for the kids, Laramie Jubilee Days holds a mutton bustin' contest for ages 3-8 and no one over 50 pounds. These begin 30 minutes before each of the three PRCA rodeo performances.
