An annual tradition around this time of year is back. “Laramie Laughs For A Cause” presented by Soroptimist of Laramie is Friday, Feb. 22.

This annual event helps raise funds for Soroptimist of Laramie, an organization that helps women and girls in the community and across the globe. The evening will feature a Social Hour at 6 p.m., followed by a Live Auction at 7. The Grand Finale of comedy begins at 8 p.m. and features Cheyenne native Brandt Tobler. The opening act will be Elliot Woolsey.

Soroptimist of Laramie chapter President Jackie Gonzales and member Tracy Fletcher spoke with host David Settle in the video above during a recent “Laramie Live on KOWB” radio show. They talked about a few changes with this year’s show, including the theme, some of the prizes available that attendees will have a chance to win, and more.

Tickets are $40 in advance and can be purchased through www.soroptimistoflaramie.org. You can also buy tickets at the door. Those will cost $45.
