The Laramie Main Street Program is holding a contest to determine their ten-year anniversary logo. All artists, graphic designers, and creative folks in Laramie are asked to submit their prospective logo for a chance at $200 in downtown gift certificates.

Laramie Main Street is celebrating 10 years of downtown revitalization in 2015, and they are looking for a logo that captures their dynamic goals and the services they provide.

Participants are asked to use the colors and fonts identified in the branding style guide. Entrees will be accepted now through Feb. 20. High quality PDF, JPEG, Illustrator, and GIF images are preferred. The winner will be announced on Feb. 27th.

A copy of the branding style guide can be found on the Downtown Laramie Facebook page under the photo album “branding downtown” or by emailing downtownlaramie@gmail.com

Entries can be emailed, mailed, or dropped off at 207 Grand Avenue.

Over the last ten years, Laramie Main Street has documented the creation of 80 net new businesses, 394 net new jobs, 173 building rehab projects valued at $5.5 million and 33,100 volunteer hours valued at $659,000 for a total in $12.7 million in private and public investments downtown.
