A Laramie man was arrested on a warrant Saturday night and now faces a felony drug charge, according to the Laramie Police Department.

Fredrick Harnden, 37, is charged with felony possession of a controlled substance. A third or subsequent conviction for possession of a controlled substance is punishable by up to five years in prison and a $5,000 fine.

Police responded to the 2100 block of Wyoming Avenue at 10:46 p.m. Saturday to investigate a domestic dispute.

According to a police department press release, Harnden was allegedly one of the subjects involved in the dispute and was wanted on a warrant issued by the Albany County Circuit Court.

Harnden was also reportedly in possession of a controlled substance, though police did not name the substance.

We will update this story when court documents are available.
