The Laramie River remains in minor flood range Wednesday, rising above 8.2 feet.

According to the National Weather Service, the water level may crest at 8.3 feet later today. Anything over 8 feet is considered flood stage.

As a result, portions of the Greenbelt Trail will remain closed until further notice. Travelers are urged to not drive through water on any roadways and access to Chimney Lamp Road Bridge may become impossible.
