This summer along with some of the changes we reported on earlier, the Laramie Farmers Market downtown will also be adding some new vendors to their list of regular attendees. As normal a bulk of the products being sold at the market will again be very local; of the businesses signed up so far,16 are from the Laramie area including Centennial, Fox Park, Cheyenne and Granite Canyon. Additionally14 are from the Ft. Collins area including Ault, Loveland, Wellington, Greeley and Eaton, and 4 are from Denver area including Lakewood, Boulder and Aurora.

Here is a quick look at some of the new additions to the farmers market this year and what they will be offering:


America’s Best Company

America’s Best Company sells hand carved wooden musical frogs, pigs, crickets and owls, garden stakes and are out of Loveland, Colorado. Their wooden carvings are actually imported  from Chiang Mai, Northern Thailand. The tribes who hand make these beautiful animals are the Northern Hill Tribe people. The unique aspect of these products comes from the sounds that they make which closely imitate those of the actual animals carved.

BeesBody

BeesBody, a Fort Collins business, sells specialty all natural body care products including soap, shampoo, lotion bars, lip balm and skin care cream. As you can see from their website, these unique personal care items are not only great for your home but also as gifts for friends & family.

Boulder Natural Vending

This food vending business out of Boulder offers a range of tasty natural and organic products for those focused on a healthy lifestyle. Their products include Noosa Yogurt made in Bellevue at Morning Fresh Dairy, yogurt parfaits, popsicles, granola and much more.

Katie Dreesman Baked Goods

Gluten free baked goods including bread, bagels, cookies, crackers, pies, muffins and more are the specilty of this local Laramie vendor. However, they will also be offering home grown vegetables at their booth this year.

Horsetooth Hot Sauce

This Fort Collins company has the perfect sauces & rubs to accompany many of the meats that will be sold at the farmers market this year including hot sauce, BBQ sauce, Bloody Mary Mix, Meat Rub, Wing Sauce and more. These products with creative names like “The Wake Up Call” and ”Smokestack Lightning” are also great items for gifting as well; all are bottled a short ways away in Fort Collins.

JKM Images

JKM Images out of Fox Park will feature a variety of matted and framed photography for decorating the home along with a collection of unique photo bookmarks.

Loco Bueno

Loco Bueno claims that their Green Chile sauce is just that; crazy good! According to their website, their gluten-free green chile comes on a turkey breast for a great meal.

Miche Bag

Miche Bag will be featuring a line of customizable handbags and accessories for women at this year’s farmers market. Make sure to visit this local Laramie companies website for a look at the types of items that they carry to make sure that you arrive wherever you are headed this summer in style!

MouCo Cheese Company

MouCo Cheese Company can make your burger this summer on the grill even better with one of their specialty cheeses made right in Fort Collins. However the CEO is actually an expert as she worked for one of the worlds largest soft-ripened cheese manufacturers, Käserei Champignon in Germany.

Zen Central

The last new addition to this year’s market comes from right here in Laramie with Zen Central. If you happen to be a little stressed than this is the place to be! There will be a  massage chair in their booth and they will also feature chilled bottled organic coconut water along with oils, creams, scrubs and salts. Demonstrations of yoga, Thai massage and Reflexology will also be a focus of their display.

One of the event organizers, Denise Deem told us that they are particularly excited for this year’s market and the growth that is being realized. In totality attendees will see the following product categories present and they are expecting even more as the month goes on and the market gets going:

  • 9 Prepared Foods to eat on spot (or take home) vendors (BBQ, Paella, Kettle Corn, Ice Cream, Mexican, 4 “bakeries”)
  • 7 Produce/Fruit vendors
  • 2 meat vendors (beef, pork, lamb, goat, chickens, eggs)
  • 7 take home prepared item vendors(smoked salmon, soup/chowder, green chile, cheese, pasta, coffee, hot sauce, yogurt)
  • 4 art/craft vendors (handbags, framed photography, pottery, lawn/garden ornaments)
  • 2 body care vendors
  • 1 pet care vendor
  • 2 non-profits
