Time is running out for those who want to see the latest art exhibition at the University of Wyoming Art Museum.

The last day for the public to view the popular exhibition “40th Annual Juried University of Wyoming Student Exhibition” will be Saturday, March 21.

The exhibition is open to any student enrolled at UW during the current academic year. For the first time, this year’s exhibition also was open to in-state students enrolled through the Outreach School. This exhibition also is an opportunity for departments and units around campus to purchase student artwork and add original art to their buildings and offices.

A juror from outside the state is invited each year to select the exhibition. This year’s juror is Kelly Baum, the Haskell Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art at the Princeton University Art Museum. In addition to selecting artwork for the exhibition, Baum made award selections and provided a juror’s statement.

For more information, call the Art Museum at (307) 766-6622, visit the website at www.uwyo.edu/artmuseum, or follow the museum on Facebook and Instagram.

The museum is located in the Centennial Complex at 2111 Willett Drive in Laramie. Hours are Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and from 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Mondays. Admission is free.
