Marie Osmond Rushed to Vegas Hospital

Her publicist is confirming that the singer was rushed to the emergency room following Wednesday's performance with her brother Donnie at the Flamingo Showroom.

Alan Nierob, the rep for the singer confirmed with TMZ that Marie was suffering from what he called "A bad lung Problem".  At the emergency room, Marie was diagnosed with severe bronchitis.  She was released from the hospital a few hours later.

After the show, Osmond was apparently complaining of tightness in her lungs and chest.  The emergency room crew at St. Rose Dominican Hospital performed 90 minutes of evaluation and x-rays and eventually cleared her to return to the stage.  There are reports that the song sets may be altered or shortened in order to give her voice a rest and aid in her recovery.

A spokesman with the Flamingo did say that as far as she knew, the siblings were scheduled to appear for the already booked show.
