Miranda Lambert likes Country’s Recognition

Miranda Lambert thinks the large number of Grammy nominations coming out of the Academy are a sign that the Genre of Country music is really starting to broaden its audience appeal.  Lambert herself has been nominated for 3 Grammys and her album "The House That Built Me" has been nominated for Album of the year in the inspirational category. 

Lambert is enjoying not only the honor of the nominations, but is looking forward to the chance to rub elbows with great talent from all across the musical spectrum.  The 53rd Grammy awards take place on Sunday, February 13, 2011.  They'll be broadcast live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles on CBS.
