Earlier this month, Blake Shelton teased big news on his Twitter account, but played coy when his followers begged for more details. All he would reveal was the news involved Miranda Lambert, and that it was some of the biggest news he’d received all year.

“Just received news that is so cool it supersedes any award, hit song, platinum album, sold out tour or TV show!! What a year… What a year!” Shelton said. Of course his fans assumed Lambert was pregnant, but the ‘Baggage Claim’ singer confirms that that is definitely not the case.

“Well I’m not pregnant, so let’s clear that up,” she tells Taste of Country, laughing. “I really don’t know, but if I had to guess it would be about that song ‘Over You,’ the potential that it may be the next single.”

The song, found on Lambert’s upcoming ‘Four the Record’ album, was written by the couple about Shelton’s brother, who was killed in a car accident in 1990.

Richie Shelton was 10 years older than Blake, and although Lambert never met him she had no problem helping her husband write the song. “He said, ‘I think it’s better if you record it,” Lambert says in the current Ladies Home Journal. “Honestly, I don’t think I can get through singing it every night onstage, so what’s the point? I love that song, and I feel like it’s time for me to show I have that side of me that’s vulnerable and hurting for someone else.”

While it’s not 100 percent certain that’s the news Shelton was referring to in his recent tweet or that it will definitely be her next single, Lambert does say that hearing that song could be on the radio soon made her man very happy. “He was really excited,” she says. “I was like, ‘You could have worded it better. Now everyone thinks I’m pregnant.’”
