In the radio biz, we refer to an "add date".  That's when the artist and record company ask that broadcasters "add" the song to their play rotations.  We usually add to what's called "light" rotation 'til we find out where a tune is going.

Well, this little number is debuting at # 33 on the billboard charts.  That is way, way high.  And it's not even officially being added to air-play until the 22nd of this month.

Miranda wrote the tune in conjunction with Natalie Hemby and Luke Laird.  She's quoted in a recent interview abou the single:

"It's the grooviest song I’ve ever recorded”.  “It makes you want revenge and want to dance all at the same time!” The song includes background vocals from Lamberts friend Josh Kelley who was the opening act on her “The Revolution Tour.”

Lambert kicks-off the last leg of her “Revolution Continues” Tour in September with special guests Justin Moore and Randy Rogers Band as special guests.
If the past is any indication, the album "Four the Record" will probably debut at number one.  All three of her albums have, and have been certified Platinum (one million unit sales).  Her last album, Revolution fetured Three Number One Singles and won multiple CMA and ACM Awards including Album of the Year and Female Vocalist and won her first Grammy Award for Female Vocal Performance.
So be looking for the unstoppable train that is Miranda Lambert's career to be, well, unstoppable.  "Four the Record" (the album) and Baggage Claim (the single) will be all over the airwaves soon enough.
Although the official video is still in production, you can hear the tune here.
