Former Wyoming Cowboys standout Larry Nance Jr. has received an invitation to attend the 2015 NBA Draft Combine.

It will take place in Chicago May 12-17.

Nance is the first player since Theo Ratliff in 1995 to participate in the event.

The invite-only showcase is where players go through a variety of basketball drills to show off their skills, plus medical testing and interviews.

Typically about 60 players hoping to get drafted will attend.

Nance Jr. was a two-time First Team All-Mountain West selection. He was also named to the MW All-Defensive team twice and honored as co-Defensive Player of the Year last season.

The 6-8, 235 forward averaged 16.1 points and 7.3 rebounds per game. He helped the Cowboys to a 25-10 record, their first ever MW Tournament Championship and their first NCAA Tournament appearance in 13 years.

The NBA Draft is June 25.
