Clouds are rolling in, making the weekend movie forecast for dark, creepy weather. The vampires and werewolves from The Twilight Saga make an early landing in Laramie, joining another blockbuster, 'Skyfall,' in local theaters.

Early reviews indicate 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 2' may just be the best movie in this series of mediocre films. Unlike the last film in this series, something actually happens. The undead heroine, Bella, comes to life and has a variety of sparkly facial expressions, instead of the usual sulking. Critics are giving this vampire battle opera a C+ rating. The fall film series at the Wyo Theater continues on Sunday at 7 p.m. with an Iranian film, 'Chicken With Plums,' about a violinist who re-evaluates his life when his violin is broken. This film won the Film Critics Special Jury Prize at the Dublin International Film Festival and is presented in French and English.

The best films being held over from last week are 'Argo,' 'Wreck-It Ralph' and 'Skyfall,' which all rate a B. The weekend movie forecast is by Robert Roten, creator of the Laramie Movie Scope website.
