The Laramie weekend movie forecast calls for partial clearing. There haven't been many good family films released this year, but one of the best opens today in Laramie.

The Disney animated film "Wreck-It Ralph" actually has an original story and it's getting good reviews, rating a "B". Check out the trailer below.

It's not the top-rated film being released nationwide today, that would be "Flight" starring Denzel Washington. However, "Flight" is not opening in Laramie. If you want to see it, the closest place this weekend is Cheyenne. Ditto for the Kung-Fu action film, "The Man with the Iron Fists" and same for "Cloud Atlas". This is not a good trend for Laramie.

The Fall Film Series at the Wyo Theater continues on Sunday, November 4th at 7 p.m. with "Hope Springs". This popular romantic comedy stars Meryl Streep and Tommy Lee Jones as a couple going through counseling in hopes of putting the fire back in their marriage. You can watch the trailer below.

The best films being held over from last week are "The Dark Knight Rises" and "Argo" which both rate a "B". The weekend movie forecast is by Robert Roten, creator of the Laramie Movie Scope website.
