The Thanksgiving Movie Forecast calls for at least one sunny new movie this week. Early reviews indicate 'The Life of Pi' may be one of the year's best films. It opens in Laramie today.

A man is stranded on a life raft with a tiger in this thought-provoking film. It could compete for best film of the year honors with another film currently showing in Laramie, 'Skyfall.' Watch the trailer for 'The Life of Pi' below.

Other new movies opening today in Laramie include the early animated Christmas film, 'Rise of the Guardians.' Jack Frost, Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny and others band together to fight evil. Reportedly, it is better than it sounds. It rates a C+.

Somebody thought it would be a good idea to remake the old Patrick Swayze action film 'Red Dawn.' This was a bad idea. It opens today to bad reviews, it rates a D. See for yourself if you think it will be worth your time be watching the trailer below.

Held over is the critically-acclaimed animated film 'Wreck-It Ralph', which rates a B and the wildly popular finale to the Twilight Sage 'Breaking Dawn Part 2', which rates a C+. The Wyo Theater will be closed Thanksgiving evening, then will begin showing 'The Bourne Legacy' on Friday.
