Former Cheyenne Post 6 standout Brandon Nimmo represented Wyoming in the 2013 MiLB All-Star Futures game.

Nimmo is currently playing for the Savannah Sand Gnats in Savannah, GA.  The Gnats are the Single-A affiliate of the MLB's New York Mets.  Nimmo was only one of four Single-A players to make the All-Star roster.

The Left Fielder made the team by winning the online fan vote.  He went 0 for 2 at bat, but didn't let it dampen his spirits saying "I had a great time at the Futures Game today.  Thank you to the Mets fans for making me feel right at home."

Brandon is batting .261 with a .350 slugging percentage this year.  He has 8 doubles, 5 triples, and 1 home run.
