No one was injured when a garage caught fire Monday afternoon in Cheyenne.

City of Cheyenne spokesman Scott Smith says firefighters were called to the 900 block of 23rd Street around 3:30 p.m.

"Firefighters arrived to find a small garage fully engulfed," Smith said in a press release. "The fire had spread to two parked cars in the immediate area of the garage."

Despite the high winds, crews were able to quickly extinguish the fire. It's unknown what caused the blaze.
