A major storm has brought travel to a halt in the Northeast. Trains are delayed, Planes are grounded, and the winter storm continues to bear down on the Northeastern US, causing cities such as New York to declared weather emergenicies.

The states of Virginia, Maryland, New Jersey and Massachusetts have all declared a state of emergency as well. Certain areas are forecasted to get up to 30" of snow from this event. Airlines were hopeful to resume flight operations this afternoon, but strong winds and blowing snow have halted all air travel until further notice. As you can imagine this is a disaster for holiday travelers as they head home from a nice Christmas weekend. Thankfully our weather here in Wy0ming is a little more cooperative this holiday season. Check out this gallery of all the snow in the Northeast!
