EVERY LITTER BIT HELPS

A Cleveland man learned the hard way that no good deed goes unpunished, when he got a ticket for littering after giving a homeless man a dollar bill.

John Davis spotted the wheelchair-bound panhandler at the side of a highway off-ramp and decided he wanted to help out, so he pulled over and handed some cash out the window. When the man went to reach for it, it fell to the ground, where he later retrieved it.

As Davis drove away, he was pulled over by a deputy and handed a ticket for “throwing paper out window,” which he grants was technically true, but still baffling. He says he plans to challenge the ticket in court, mainly because it carries a hefty fine that could hit $500 once you add in court costs. (WJKW)

OH NOAH, HE DIDN’T!

What a circus… Cops in Iowa busted a man for drunk driving with a zebra and an exotic bird in his car.

Jerald Reiter stumbled out of the Dog House bar, where cops were staking out the parking lot due to a commotion involving folks taking photos of his vehicle with the zebra and a large macaw inside. The officers hauled Reiter off after he failed a field sobriety test, despite the fact that he insisted he was planning to have someone else drive him home.

ONE TRASHY DANCER

A South Carolina woman was arrested on child endangerment charges for getting trashed while her toddler slept in the trash.

Shana Bishop pulled her car into a stranger’s driveway, got out and began to dance around erratically, which attracted the attention of cops, particularly because she had her vehicle’s cup-holder stuck in her hair for good measure. When they approached to investigate, they found the visibly impaired woman’s two-year-old fast asleep on a large mount of garbage that covered the floor of her car.

Bishop, who admitted to using meth, was booked on a variety of charges. (KLTV)
