A San Francisco, California woman could face up to 10 years in prison after a Wyoming trooper found 43.8 pounds of marijuana in her car.

According to an affidavit, 39-year-old Maria E. Barquero was pulled over for a lane use violation on Interstate 80 in Cheyenne on Jan. 25.

The traffic stop led to a search of the car and two large suitcases containing 38 vacuum sealed packages of marijuana were found in the trunk.

Barquero​ was arrested and charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana.

Barquero is free on a $5,000 cash bond. Her preliminary hearing is scheduled for Feb. 8 in Laramie County Circuit Court.
