Remember when Miranda Lambert introduced the world to two of her friends during the taping of the ACM Girls Night Out?  She brought up the loveley Ashley Monroe and Angaleena Presley.  Little did anyone know that these three together were about to show some song-writing and singing chops as a brand new group.

It's been less than six months and the three, now known as the band Pistol Annies, are celebrating a huge milestone:  the release of their very first album, "Hell on Heels".

Often during her tour stops, Miranda has invited the other two girls up on stage to perform.  They have a nice, sweet and unique sound, mixed with a little bit of wicked humor.

The girls are fairly confident that the album will be well-received by mainstream radio, but they're being cautious with how they roll the whole project out.

"We're starting off trying to see how the fans react. We would love for radio to come out and see us at a show and to have relationships between Pistol Annies and radio. Right now, I'm on tour and the girls come out and we do a Pistol Annies set in the middle of my set. It's a great way to build our fan base. I've already got fans coming, I've already got radio stations coming, I've already got the production paid for, I've already got the buses. We don't want to get in a van necessarily, so we're just sort of hooking them onto my tour, which is perfect", said  Miranda

The album is available today and from their website:  Pistol Annies

Be listening for their first single soon.  You don't even have to be a betting person to put money on the success of this group.  They're bound to make a splash, and I can't wait.
