The 2018 high school football season concluded two weeks ago for the Laramie Plainsmen with a loss in the quarterfinal round of the Class 4A playoffs.

Laramie fell to No. 4 seed Cheyenne East 37-21 Oct. 26 in Cheyenne.

Laramie finished the 2018 season with a 4-6 record. They were the No. 5 seed in the 4A playoffs, which was their highest playoff seed since 2005. LHS was also undefeated at home for the first time since 2000.

Plainsmen head coach Clint Reed just wrapped up his second season at the helm of the program. He visited with KOWB’s David Settle in the video above. They talked about the playoff loss, the season as a whole, losing some valuable seniors, and now building for the future.

Laramie returns only three starters on offense and just two on defense. Post-season honors from the Wyoming Coaches Association will not be announced until the coaches meet to decide All-Conference and All-State Nov. 15 and 16.
