Author's note: Because the former Laramie High School building is still under the jurisdiction of Albany County School District #1, they are in charge of the building. We reached out to them for an answer to this question.

Question:

Are you going to salvage any of the reusable materials (i.e. windows, doors, hardware, metal, etc.)? Will these materials be made available at a public auction?

Answer:

"The former Laramie High School demolition bid in March will result in the selection of a contractor who will demolish and salvage materials from the old high school. Allowing the contractor to salvage is expected to reduce the overall cost of the demolition project. The old high school is being demolished to make room for the construction of the new Slade Elementary School, which will incorporate the existing auxiliary gym. More information about the project can be found here."
