Richie Law Performing at University of Wyoming Homecoming

Former “American Idol” contestant Richie Law and his band, the Southern Routes, will perform a University of Wyoming Homecoming concert Wednesday, Oct. 15, at 9 p.m. in the Wyoming Union Ballroom.

Law is a Nashville recording artist who has worked with notable country performers Darius Rucker, Jewel and Billy Dean. Known for his energetic stage presence and ability to interact and engage with all audiences, Law was among the top 40 contestants on season 11 of “American Idol.”

Before the dance, members of the Cowboy Swing Club will offer swing dance lessons in the Ballroom at 8 p.m. The dance is scheduled to start following the annual Homecoming Sing that takes place in the College of Arts and Sciences auditorium beginning at 7:30 p.m.
