The curtain won't be going up on Shania Twain's new show in Vegas until December of 2012, but the logistics of her putting in a two-year residency at Caesar's Palace have already begun.

The Las Vegas Sun is rporting that Shania was recently spotted in town with her husband looking for a place to live. There were also a series of production meetings scheduled at the Coloseum. She's also taking time to walk-thru the stage sets and dance routines she's planning.

The tour was announced last June and it's going to be months of hectic activity until the big day in December when she kicks of two years of regularly scheduled shows. The appearance will be called Shania Twain:  Still the One

This residency is clearly seen as Shania's biggest and perhaps most risky move since her superstar hey day in country. Since fading from the scene, she's making big strides back and recovering from everything from a divorce from Mutt Lange to illness.

We are looking forward to her return and wish her only the  best. I'm sure her millions of loyal fans are hoping for the best.
