Should UW Have Knocked Down the Old Hospital? – Survey of the Day

A few months ago, everyone watched as the old hospital on the corner of tenth and Ivinson was torn down.  The deconstruction was a bit surreal, like looking into a giant doll house. But should the old hospital been torn down?  A gaping hole surrounded by hastily constructed fence is all that remains of its legacy.  But what should go there?  With space being a premium on campus, and with many departments feeling like they need a new building, the land is sure to go fast and there is sure to be controversy. The process has only begun, so it’s time to get your opinion in. What you do think UW should do with this new space?
