Should UW Trustees Keep the Presidential Candidates a Secret? – Survey of the Day

The Board of Trustees for the University of Wyoming will finalize the selection process for the next UW President during their meeting on Friday. This time around the Board is likely to keep the process completely confidential.

This means that the public will not know who any of the candidates are, as only the next President will be announced. At their special meeting last month, they Board decided that keeping the candidates a secret would be able to attract a better pool of candidates. Do you think they’re right?
