United States Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos visited Wyoming on Tuesday stopping in Casper and at St. Stephens High School.

She picked the Cowboy State to kick off her "Rethink Education School Tour." Her first stop had her at Woods Learning Center in Casper at 8:30 a.m. She then went two hours west to Fremont County to visit St. Stephens Indian High School. DeVos will continue her tour across the United States through Friday.

DeVos spoke to dozens at St. Stephens Indian High School, but was first greeted along Highway 138 by a couple of protesters. One of which held a sign that said "Betsy DeVos is the REAL threat to education."

Another sign at the protest read "Her policy ideas are unBEARable." A shot at her controversial statement in January saying a Wyoming school might need guns to stop grizzly bear attacks.
