The University of Wyoming will, once again, play host to its annual summer concert series featuring artists from around the region.

The series will kick off at the end of the month with a Cheyenne band, BeatGrass.  The group is becoming a popular act along the Front Range, says Patricia Rader, Summer Programs coordinator.

“They offer a memorable, high-energy live show,” she says. “Their bluegrass folk music will get your toe tapping and your head bobbing.”

BeatGrass will play in the Simpson Family Plaza on the UW campus from 11:45-1:00 pm, on May 29th.  The concert series is free and open to the public.

Rader goes on to say that concert series will continue weekly after that on Wednesdays through the summer.  Other bands slated to be featured are The Echo Chamber, Sageland Stomp and Continuum.  A full calendar of summer events is available, here, at the university website.
