Bus Fire

It makes sense that Lee Brice would be the first one to recognize a burning bus. After all, he watched his own go up in flames last month. Last night, Jerrod Niemann‘s bus caught fire, and he says it was the ‘Woman Like You’ singer who got his attention and made sure everyone was off the bus before an explosion that would have ripped through the cabin.

You can’t get much more heroic than rescuing school children from a burning bus.  Which is why public school officials and firefighters in Charlotte, North Carolina are raving about school bus driver Lindora Richardson, whose calm in the face of potential catastrophe may have saved the lives of the six children on her bus last Wednesday afternoon.

Over the weekend (Saturday, Jan. 21), Lee Brice was the latest country star to fall victim to an unexpected bus fire that destroyed his home on wheels. After pulling into Toby Keith‘s I Love This Bar and Grill restaurant in Mesa, Ariz., the back end of Brice’s Prevost tour bus caught on fire, but everyone escaped with minimal damage. Brice is now reflecting on the scare.

Lee Brice‘s new single ‘A Woman Like You’ is currently burning up country radio and the country singles chart, but this weekend it was his tour bus that was doing all of the burning. Saturday afternoon (Jan. 21), Brice’s bus caught on fire outside of Toby Keith‘s I Love This Bar and Grill restaurant in Mesa, Ariz. where he was scheduled to perform with newcomer Tyler Farr.

Earlier today we learned that Country artist Randy Houser had a little incident while on the road to South Carolina. Fortunately Randy and his whole crew made it through the incident without a scratch but as you can see from the pictures and video here the bus and some of his equipment are a whole nother story.
