I'd like to think that Nashvile and The Country Music Association would have gotten around to honoring Glen Campbell eventually.  Here is an iconic performer who was a stalwart of the country music industry for decades in the 70's, 80's and 90's.  The sad news that Campbell is heading into the long twilight of Alzheimers just added to the urgency.
