July isn't just the month we celebrate the Independence of the United States, it's also the month we celebrate grilling.

Extremely dry and windy conditions have prompted Cheyenne Fire and Rescue to restrict open burning within city limits.

Many of us will be firing up the grill and heading out to picnics this Memorial Day weekend, but it's important to take some precautions.

Grillers will be competing for a share of $7,000 in prize money at the IMH Foundation Griller's Cup this Saturday. Judges from the Kansas City Barbecue Society will determine who the Wyoming State Champions are with categories in ribs, chicken, pork and brisket.

On the menu tonight, grilled steak marinated in Worcestershire sauce and spices, asparagus with Dijon sauce and sauteed baby portabella's. This is a very easy dinner to just throw together you don't even need a measuring cup or spoon, and it tastes like you worked all day.

This recipe is very easy and only uses a few dishes. You can also adapt it for most camping situations.

This Saturday the lower west parking lot at Ivinson Memorial Hospital will be filled with some of the best BBQ in the west for the IMH Foundation Griller's Cup BBQ Cook Off. Awards will be given for People's Choice for Best BBQ, Best Dessert and Best Side Dish.
