The body of a UW graduate who had been missing since Dec. 15 was found near the South Platte River in Denver on Saturday, Jan. 13.

According to the Sheriff’s Department, Brice Page, 27, fatally shot Matthew Butrick in what the Sheriff’s Department is investigating as a case of self-defense. Both men are from Laramie County.

Deputies arrived at the home where the couple lived and found David Williamson calmly sitting on the front porch.

As part of an ongoing investigation, the Laramie Police Department has determined the cause of death of a Laramie man whose body was found in downtown Laramie in July.

The Laramie Police department said officers brought the bills to a professor from the University of Wyoming last Friday, who helped them decipher the Chinese characters written on the bills.

Evidence at the scene, investigators say, suggested the wound was not self-inflicted.
