The Laramie City Council will consider whether to approve an expenditure for a one-time employee stipend for city employees during their regular meeting tomorrow night.
Summerville said while the city council usually holds a meeting every year regarding economic development, this year is particularly important because of the significant change in the city’s funding.
The project aims to identify a sustainable system of motorized transportation on the Pole Mountain unit in order to provide diverse recreation opportunities for everyone, regardless of transportation.
“We definitely have to do what’s right for the business,” says Storey. “We think that what’s right for the business right now is to do whatever we can to stay in Laramie.”
The public can view and offer opinions on exterior design plans for the University of Wyoming’s Rochelle Athletics Center/Mick and Susie McMurry High Altitude Performance Center at a community meeting Tuesday.
