Jubilee Days just might be Laramie’s biggest and most successful yearly event. Kicking off with the annual Freedom Has a Birthday, Laramie’s July celebration has events going through the middle of the month.
The City of Laramie made the decision on Monday to cancel the Fire in the Sky fireworks show. They said the dry conditions and significant fire threat in Albany County led to the decision by the planning team, even though they had full confidence in Stonebraker Fireworks Company to safely conduct the show.
One of the hottest topics of the past few years, nationwide, has been health care. Thursday, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in favor of President Barack Obama’s 2010 health care law.
