These are some pretty intense captures of the tornadic activity around Cheyenne earlier Monday. One tornado hit near Carpenter and damaged some structures. Here are some of the close and personal encounters some folks had with today's tornadoes in Wyoming delivered via Twitter...

This video from WeatherNation shows a barn being destroyed and the roof of a house being torn from the building.

People are urged to take cover immediately.

A Tornado Warning remains in effect until 6 p.m. for western Kimball, southwestern Banner and southeastern Laramie counties.

Weather threats for Monday include tornadoes, large and destructive hail, flash flooding and very strong winds.

The tornado was spotted in the I80 corridor.

Wind and snow are the usual headline grabbers for Wyoming weather. This area is not known for tornadoes. It was photographed near the Green River Valley.

On Memorial Day, the small town of Peetz, Colorado was rattled by severe storms. One of them produced a unique looking landspout tornado.

A tornado warning activated by Albany County's Emergency Management Agency has been lifted, although residents are still asked to be aware of any severe weather in the area.
