The good news for Taylor just continues to pile up.  The Woman of the Year honor as matched by the good news that Taylor’s latest album Speak Now has been certified five times platinum.  That’s Five Million units sold.

Billboard makes note of the fact that Taylor began her professional career five years ago with her first album, Taylor Swift.  That album is still the longest running album on the Billboard 200.  Her next album, Fearless went on to sell six million copies and is still considered the most recognized country music album...of all time.

Her third album, Speak Now spawned a number of hits and is the basis of one of the nation’s most successful live concert tours.

Quoting Billboard’s Editorial Director, Bill Werde:

"At the young age of 21, Taylor has already made a major impact on music and has been an incredible role model for aspiring singers/songwriters and young women everywhere. I look forward to watching her career continue to flourish in the years to come."

Taylor is set to officially receive the honor at the 2011 Billboard Women in Music event on Dec. 2. In New York City.

Here’s to the unstoppable force that is Taylor Swift.  21 years old and just getting warmed up.
