Taylor Swift Gives Big Break To Pop Band

Our Young Miss Swift is heading out on a major US and Canadian tour beginning in May.  Taylor and her management have named the pop band Needtobreathe as their opening act.  Needtobreath is starting to get a great reputation as a pop/Christian band, but the fact that they'll be opening for someone with Taylor's star power should turn into a real shot in the arm for their career.

The group's Bo Rinehart is quoted as saying that Taylor's "Speak Now" tour opens up an entirely new audience for the band....and that can only mean bigger and better things in the future.  Needtobreathe is expeceted to have a new album on the Atlantic lable in 2011.
